Walking the Labyrinth (All- Ages) – Saturday, September 21 (2-5 pm)

Come celebrate the Fall Equinox, a time for reflection, gratitude, and for celebrating the abundance in our lives with those around us. The Fall equinox gives us space to balance between light and dark. Our celebration will center around learning to walk a labyrinth, following a simple path which enables us to tune in to the rhythms of who we are, guided by the natural cycle of the earth – the changing of the seasons.

Kristin Keyes, a certified labyrinth facilitator, will introduce you to walking a labyrinth, inviting you through movement, meditation and reflection to become attuned to the growth and changes that surround us as summer gives way to fall. You will also discover how people are using labyrinths to guide healing, deepen self-knowledge, find clarity, and empower creativity. After a brief presentation, you will be invited to walk the 24-foot canvas labyrinth set up in the community center of the Library.

This event is intended for patrons ages 14 and older and the content is designed for an audience of that age.
