Cd’A Library Offering Free Youth e-Books

The Coeur d’Alene Public Library is offering free eBooks to children ages birth to 18.

Complete the form at this site — forms.gle/2Grj8hH1mwPvWSmH9 — and the library will send you an access code for 10 free eBook downloads. Limit one access code per child while supplies last. Families with multiple children may request an access code for each child in the family.

This is a separate program from our normal online resources like Overdrive and Libby, which remains free for all library patrons.

During this time, the library staff want to provide as many resources to their patrons as we can. Once we have received your request, we will email you with your access code(s).

This program is courtesy of First Book, a non-profit that provides books and other resources at low cost to libraries and schools.

The Coeur d’Alene and Lake City public libraries are temporarily closed until further notice. All library programs and room reservations are suspended through at least April 18.

The library continues to offer online services through its website – cdalibrary.org – which has expanded its catalog of links, especially for children. Links to other activities and information are available through the library’s Facebook pages: facebook.com/CDALibrary; facebook.com/cdachildrenslibrary; and facebook.com/cdateens.
