What We Carry: An Evening with Author Stacy Boe Miller – Friday, September 11 (5:30 pm)
Join us for an evening of poetry with Idaho writer Stacy Boe Miller as she reads from her new collection, Ready to Answer with Hunger. Blending the textures of memoir and dream, Miller’s work explores motherhood, identity, grief, and the shifting landscapes of faith and the body. Set against both the real and imagined West, these poems move fluidly between the intimate and the expansive, inviting readers into a world that is at once grounded and surreal.
Stacy Boe Miller is a poet and prose writer who earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Idaho and served as Poet Laureate of Moscow, Idaho. A dedicated teacher and community writer, she brings a dynamic and accessible voice to conversations about art and lived experience.
Following the reading, audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversation with the author.
