This week’s Subterranean Tales is our last of the summer and we are studying the Ancient Bones Beneath the Stones and we’ve had to move it to the Library due to forecasted weather.

Unearth a story with the library at Higgens Point State Park! You’ll marvel at the beautiful setting, but our focus will be on the bounty of natural wonders found beneath the forest floor. This is a destination program for families that love getting outdoors to enjoy nature. Amazing stories of underground adventures, fun activities, and hands-on projects will be inspired by extraordinary things that hide below the Earth’s surface. While all ages are welcome, this program is designed for ages 4-10. We’re excited that at the culmination of this program in August, families will receive a special copy of “The Dirt Book: Poems About Animals That Live Beneath Our Feet” by David L. Harrison!
