November

Library Food Drive – All of November

Help us celebrate the abundance of the harvest season by giving back to the community! Did you know that 1 in 10 people and 1 in 7 children in Kootenai County live with food insecurity? For the month of November, the library will be accepting non-perishable food donations and hygienic items to help feed and care for those in our community experiencing poverty and food insecurity. Preferred foods include canned goods, boxed dinners, peanut butter, dry cereal, and canned meat. Toothbrushes, toilet paper, sanitary products, and other hygienic items will also be accepted. This event is run in partnership with the Community Action Partnership, which works with communities in North Idaho to help families exit poverty.
