Gizmo-CDA is partnering with the Coeur d’Alene Library to bring you “Project Invent”, a design-thinking club (that runs from January to May).
Project Invent is an afterschool club for middle and high school students interested in product development, entrepreneurship, and design thinking. Students will be working with a member of the community to develop a new product that could make a greater impact for the community or world.
What students get: real-world, hands-on experience ideating, building, scaling, and pitching a community-focused product; design thinking, making and entrepreneurship training; and a chance to pitch your idea to Silicon Valley investors.
Find out more details to see if you’re interested at the info session on Thursday, December 14, in the Community Room. Let Gizmo know you’re coming; register at https://gizmocda.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=277 (for teens in middle school and high school)
This event is a national program designed for teens in middle school and high school.
