InlandShare Library Group (ILG) Formation
The Coeur d’Alene Public Library is part of a new consortium, InlandShare Library Group, which was formed to continue resource sharing among select libraries. ILG is built on shared values of access, collaboration, and community service.

Digital Resources
- Coeur d’Alene Public Library patrons can sign in to InlandShare’s Libby/Overdrive to access E-books and E-audiobooks
- There is a new Checkout Limit: Patrons can now check out up to 7 items at a time and now patrons can choose a 21-day checkout period It still defaults to 14 days, but once you switch to 21, your account will remember it for future checkouts.!

Library Cards
Resident Library Cards: Coeur d’Alene Public Library cards are available to Coeur d’Alene residents. The library may also issue cards to all patrons that live within taxing districts of InlandShare Library Group members.
Also available to:
- Property owner: a person who owns commercial or residential property within the City of Coeur d’Alene and can provide evidence of current City of Coeur d’Alene property ownership.
- Business owner: a person who owns and operates a business within the City of Coeur d’Alene and can provide evidence of current City of Coeur d’Alene business ownership regardless of commercial or residential property ownership.
- City employee: a person who is employed by the City of Coeur d’Alene and can provide evidence of current City of Coeur d’Alene employment.
Non-Resident Library Cards: A Coeur d’Alene Public Library nonresident card is available to any patron from outside the ILG service area who completes an application form, shows photo ID and proof of address, and pays an annual $30.00 fee. Non-resident accounts allow patrons to borrow physical materials from all ILG service area, access eBooks and eAudiobooks within the ILG OverDrive
collection, and use digital resources and databases through the Coeur d’Alene Public Library website.
The library offers Non-Resident Library Cards, free of charge, to students who attends an elementary or secondary public or private school or institution of higher learning with-in the City of Coeur d’Alene and can provide evidence of current enrollment. Adult patrons must present a current library card, photo ID, or provide the library card number to borrow materials. Minors may use the same methods, but they can also answer three account question
