“Rise to Rebellion” by Jeff Shaara is a sweeping historical novel that dramatizes the events leading up to the American Revolution, from the Boston Massacre in 1770 to the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Through the eyes of figures like John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington, the story explores the ideological and emotional struggles that transformed a collection of colonies into a united movement for independence.
