April 10

Novel Destinations – Thursday, April 10 (7 pm)

This photographic presentation will discuss a trip through the Pantanal of Brazil. The Pantanal is a natural region encompassing the world’s largest tropical wetland area, and the world’s largest flooded grasslands.

The areas visited were near Aquidauana and Fazenda Barranco Alto in the South Pantanal; and Porto Jofre in northern Pantanal. Photographs of popular fauna such as Jaguars, Ocelots, Giant Anteaters, Giant River Otters, Macaws, Owls, Rheas, Herons, Caimans and many more will be presented.

While everyone is always welcome at the Library, this event is intended for adults and the instruction is designed for an adult audience.
