September Pageturners Book Club

The Pageturners Library Book Club will resume in-person discussions in September. The discussion will also be available on Zoom, and a recording will be available after the event with closed captioning. Masks will be required to attend the program in person.

The book club is reading “White Darkness” by David Grann and will discuss the book Wednesday, September 22nd at 10:15 a.m. Book club discussions are open to any adult reader at no charge. Check out a copy of the selection by visiting the library’s Research and Information Desk, or by calling for curbside pickup.

“White Darkness”, by the #1 New York Times bestselling author of “Killers of the Flower Moon,” is a powerful true story of adventure and obsession in the Antarctic, lavishly illustrated with color photographs.

Pageturners began meeting over a decade ago and meets the fourth Wednesday of every month at 10:15 in the Community Room. The next few month’s selections include: October 27th- “The Library Book” by Susan Orlean, January 26th- “Faithful and Virtuous Night” by Louise Glück, February 23rd- “The Nickel Boys” by Colson Whitehead, and March 23rd- “Less” by Andrew Sean Greer.
