“In this workshop, Sara Jane Ruggles, public historian for Auburn Crest Hospice, will teach you how to use family recipes to help you write your own story. We will take your recipes that are filled with memories, boil them down until we are left with the rich and savory details and you will walk away having written your first chapter…it all starts with a memory from a simple recipe card.”

Please bring a family recipe card or recipe box with you. We will supply paper, pens, and photo corners to protect the edges of the card.

Sara Jane Ruggles is a Public Historian who works with hospice and palliative care patients to preserve the stories of their loved ones in order to create a customized legacy product for their families to treasure for generations.
