Pots and Plants: in Two Parts
Part One: Flowerpot Decoration – August 5 (10-12pm) – It’s hot out, so join us for a Saturday of indoor arts and crafts, flowerpot edition. Choose from a variety of available supplies, and embellishments, to make your flowerpot unique and beautiful. Whether you’re looking to create a cohesive theme or mix and match with your current plant collection, the possibilities are endless. Registration is required. Sign up here starting July 1: cdalibrary.org/library-events/pots-and-plants/
Part Two: Plant Swap – August 12 (10-2 pm) – We’re hosting a houseplant swap where people can pick up an indoor plant, share cuttings of their own, or drop off a plant they no longer need. Houseplant swapping is a fun way to exchange plants with other enthusiasts in order to diversify home collections and learn about new plants. Bring a healthy and well-rooted plant to exchange with others and be sure to label your plants properly. If you’re new to houseplants and don’t have any cuttings to swap, don’t worry, the Library’s staff has your back and you’ll still be able to take something new home!
