Museum of North Idaho: Labor-4-12 - Relief Workers Protective Union demonstrating in downtown Coeur d'Alene in front of McDonell Tobacco Co. and Jack Miller's Cafe. Between 1930 and 1933 nearly 50 percent of the woodworkers in North Idaho were laid off. The RWPU established offices in Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint between 1930 and 1934.
