Library Welcomes New Youth Services Librarian

The Coeur d’Alene Public Library is excited to welcome Delaney Daly, our new Youth Services Librarian! She is replacing Mandi Harris who spent eight and a half years as an excellent librarian to our N. Idaho community. We will remember her with warm thoughts and memories and wish her the best in all of her new adventures.

Miss Delaney is Florida-born and raised, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Central Florida. In 2020, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Texas Woman’s University School of Library & Information Studies with a Master of Library Science degree. Previously, she was the Youth Services Librarian for the Osceola Library System main branch in Kissimmee, FL, volunteered her time at Eagle Valley Library District in Avon, CO, and began her career in public librarianship at Vail Public Library in Vail, CO. She is a published poet and research essayist and is currently writing a children’s picture book about her very silly Tabby cat, Abby! She looks forward to serving the Coeur d’Alene community and seeing everyone at the library!
