English as a Second Language (ESL) classes will be available at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library beginning Wednesday, Feb. 3.
Free classes are scheduled each Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Gozzer Room on the lower level of the library at 702 E. Front Ave. All materials are provided.
The classes will be led by Kim Catherine Cheeley. A 1971 graduate of Coeur d’Alene High School, she received her bachelor’s degree at Whitworth College, Spokane, in 1976, and her masters in adult education at the University of Idaho in 1992. She received her TESL Certificate from the School of TESL in Seattle in 1995.
She has previously taught ESL through the Adult Basic Education Department at North Idaho College and during summer programs for Japanese and Taiwanese students through Cultural Home-stays International.
